The feedback method “I like, I wish, how would it be if …” helps and motivates teams to give each other open and structured feedback on ideas and to formulate them.

The method is suitable for small groups as well as for large groups. Through the – gladly distributed and prepared in advance – feedback sheets can be

first all participants write down their feedback and then read it out in an order determined by the moderator. With large groups, not everyone has to read aloud – perhaps then only those who want to.

An example might be, “I like the interactive presentation of product ideas through role-playing. I wish we would involve the audience more next time. How about we practice this in advance?”

Ideally, the individual sentences should build on each other. Thus, you get feedback and at the same time suggestions for improvement of the idea. In addition, you reduce duplication or the protective statement, “That’s what I meant to say.”
