One way to advance the agile digital transformation in an organization in a structured manner is to establish a so-called transformation team. This team is responsible for setting up and executing the change process and should itself work according to agile values, principles, practices and methods in its role model function for implementation (see Agile Mindset Tree). Agility is thus introduced with the help of agility – in this case based on Scrum.
The biggest challenge here is the composition of the transformation team. It should not be too large but still contain the most important roles to ensure an overview of the overall situation in the organization during the transformation and to ensure that the most important information reaches this control unit without much delay.
