The triad technique (see Brainfloating by Harald Bream) based on the principle of synesthesia is about the playful handling of the different sensory qualities. These are associated with each other, although they are not actually related.
It is known from neuroscience that
sensory qualities do not have to be experienced separately. Blind people can experience color haptically, for example. So blue can feel tacky, red dull, and so on. The separation of the sense qualities is not genetically fixed, but arises only by the linguistic category formation in the respective cultural area. Our brain can experience the sensory qualities both individually and in combination.
