It also works very spontaneously without much preparation. It also offers a guarantee of success with participants who are still untrained. As a problem-solving method, this technique particularly promotes the generation of new, unusual ideas or solutions in a group of people.

Within a short time, a maximum of 108 ideas are generated with 6-3-5.

The designation resulted from the optimal way six participants, who produce each three first ideas and then five times in each case three first and/or from it derived ideas develop further (6 participants, each 3 ideas, 5 times pass on).

The 6-3-5 method is versatile and suitable as a brainwriting creativity technique in digital business model development and problem analysis to unlock a wealth of ideas. The name of the method is already close to the implementation: 6 participants each receive a sheet or online a shared Miroboard or an online Excel spreadsheet (accessible to all participants ), 3 ideas are noted per round and 5 rounds the sheet, Miroboard or Excel spreadsheet is passed on. Developed by Bernd Rohrbach in 1968, has found its way into various fields as a creative brainwriting method.
