The Simple Ethnography method from the Liberating Structures collection, opens the door to new innovations and changes in existing processes as participants explore exactly what is being done, discovering fundamental needs and new solutions. Unspoken, latent knowledge and needs of the analyzed target group become accessible. Thus, observations made can lead to short-term performance optimizations, such as when observing sales staff. In the product development process, accurate insights can be captured from the customer.
