Idea Tennis

In the creative method of Ideas Tennis, specific attention should be paid to ensuring that previously expressed ideas are taken up by the other workshop participants and ideally further refined and enriched. So, like in a tennis match, you keep throwing the idea at each other and try to counter and reflect it – no matter how much finesse or how creatively it was played.

The method works best if you respond quickly and without thinking too much, and thus also pass the ball back (so to speak) quickly.

Many good ideas have emerged from this approach, as the participants are able to engage with it quickly and are very motivated to enter into the ideas dialog. The method is most likely to be used in pairs, but it also works in larger groups and ultimately produces a very acceptable rate of ideas.
