Trend Scouting

Trendscouting serves to make current trends and realities from other cultures visible and to use them as inspiration for idea development.

Trend scouting is thinking outside the box. It broadens the perspective, illuminates border areas, provides new perspectives and unusual ideas from other cultural and thematic areas. Especially for organizations that are used to incremental innovation, technology opens their eyes to entirely new approaches. This also includes cross-industry topics and previously unknown combinations.

Trend scouting should not be confused with trend research. Trend scouting is not about anticipating trends, but identifying and capitalizing on current trends. Trend scouting creates an up-to-date picture of mood and reality.

Put simply, trend scouting is the collection of facts, situations and objects in foreign cultures and subject areas.
