Relevance Tree

Relevance tree analysis as a creativity technique first takes a problem as an existing condition, examines it for a variety of criteria, and then breaks it down into individual statements. This is done until the core of the problem becomes clear.

The decomposition into individual parts has the advantage that complex problems become manageable. In the process of decomposition, however, it is important that connections are not lost and that the selection of features is not made subjectively.

Another advantage of the relevance tree analysis is that it can be used as a technique at any time, i.e. also in a meeting, spontaneously and without prior knowledge.
