The EUI method supports teams in discussions and evaluations during innovation projects by reducing the discussion to the essential points. It is very closely related to the EBS method. ADI is virtually the follow-up method of EBS and helps to analyze the views gained through EBS and to classify the relevant contrasts.

Another version ist called UDI (unity, disunity and irrelevance) ADI = Agreement, Disagreement and Irrelevance.

ADI arguments in the different views on an issue are divided into three groups:
1. views, values and arguments on which there is agreement from both sides.
2. views, values and arguments on which there is disagreement from both sides.
3. views, values and arguments for which both sides agree are irrelevant.
