Ecocycle Planning - Liberating Structure

Ecocycle Planning - Liberating Structure

Collaborative method to prioritize and planning on the basis of a presented natural life cycle.

The Ecocycle is a method from the Liberating Structures. The method is used to analyze activities and relationships in a team or business unit to identify obstacles and opportunities for progress and to find starting points for creativity. The model for this is an ecological life cycle in nature, in which the four phases of birth, maturity, creative destruction and renewal are passed through. This promotes agility, resilience and sustainable performance by incorporating all four phases of development into the planning process.

In digital transformation projects, the Ecocycle is suitable for facilitating prioritization and planning together as a team. As a collaborative method, the Ecocylce sharpens the focus both for the individual role of the employees and for the overall perspective. It is suitable for product development, for example, but can also help at management level to sharpen the perspective for the relevant topics in a realignment.
