Not all ideas can be pursued equally at the same time. At a certain point, a detailed evaluation is necessary and prioritization is therefore essential. Especially if the ideas are already sufficiently enriched, one usually needs several criteria to achieve a meaningful evaluation.

Here, forced ranking is a helpful way to rank the available ideas. It makes it possible to look at several criteria individually in a reflective manner and still obtain an overall view at the end, which provides a clear ranking and thus a suggestion for further work.

Due to the obligation of each participant to give an evaluation, all of them have to deal with it intensively and cannot shirk their responsibility. Thus, this ranking corresponds to the mean of opinion of all participants and is thus also supported by all participants.
