The Future Workshop is a participatory creativity technique that goes back to the journalist and futurologist Robert Jungk. The method, which Jungk developed at the end of the 1970s together with his research colleagues Rüdiger Lutz and Norbert R. Müllert, offers the possibility of solving existing social problems with imagination and
new ways of looking at things.

People who are affected by a specific problem and the subsequent decisions for action are involved in the planning process. Regardless of age and education level, and under the guidance of a facilitator or team of facilitators, they contribute their imagination, desires, and visions to problem solving.

By specifically releasing the unused creative potential of those involved, this method can be used to find new types of solutions and develop joint perspectives for the future.
