For this purpose, the innovation coach accompanies the employee or the team in the professional context during the innovation process and tries to improve the employee’s innovative ability and inventiveness, taking into account his or her given resources.
For this purpose, employees are advised through direct feedback in the situation without the coach actively intervening in the situation. To apply coaching, you need knowledge about your employees’ current problem-solving behaviors and innovation capabilities, as well as a trained coach.
The advantage of this method over other knowledge transfer methods is that the trained employees generally improve their ability to innovate and also further develop their mindset towards innovation.
For some years now, training courses for innovation coaches have also been offered in Germany, so that there is currently also an available market for innovation coaches that companies can easily access.
